Drinking Water Is Good For You


Drinking water helps you maintain the balance of body fluids. Your body is composed of about 60% water. The functions of these bodily fluids include digestion, absorption, circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of body temperature.

Drinking water helps to feed your body, improves skin complexion, prevents cramps, boosts immune system and promotes weight lost. You should drink eight-8 ounce glasses of water a day which is what the Health Authorities recommend. Drinking water also helps increase energy and relieves fatigue.

Since you brain is mostly water, drinking water helps you think, focus and concentrate better and helps to be more alert. Drinking water needs to be in everyone’s lifestyle but remember to not drink too much because it is dangerous. When people drink too much water the body loses the balance of electrolytes so be very careful and stick to what the Health Authorities recommend . Stay hydrated at all times especially if you play a sport too and remember not to drink a lot of water but just enough to continue to stay healthy.

  1. I think a lot of people carry reusable water bottles that are around 24-32 ounces now, which is great because it encourages people to drink more. Drinking about two or three filled bottles of those sizes each day is almost equivalent of drinking 8 eight ounce glasses! Great post!
