3 Lessons I Learned While Reading Books

Hey! What’s up! Hello! I’m super happy to be back and I’m sorry I haven’t posted since Wednesday. I didn’t get to do Friday Finds or Lifestyle Sunday because school literally happens next week on Monday so I’m just trying to prepare for the upcoming school year and hoping to succeed. I will be making my posts ahead of time because I won’t have a lot of time this year but every weekend I will be preparing my post for the week. Ok, enough rambling today I will be sharing 3 Lessons I Learned While Reading Books.

Be yourself

I’ve read a lot of books and all I see are these characters who are truly themselves and each book I’ve read from I get to see a different character. In every book, no character is the same but they can be similar. I think for awhile I was trying to be something I was not and I was trying to fit in with the crowd at school. I’m really happy I did leave school and become homeschooled. I also think that people think that school is where you can find yourself. I’m at home majority of the time and I’ve found myself just by being at home on a computer doing work. I don’t need classrooms or students to find out who I am and be myself. Life goes on and each day I learn something new about myself.

Anything Is Possible

Anything is possible! I believe in that so much. I believe that if you do put in the work and you truly believe it you can achieve it. Always reach for the stars and always try to think of bigger and better things for yourself. I’ve read in books and I’ve read about these characters who do amazing things. The characters from books show me that anything is possible and If someone else can do it I can do it too! Don’t let anyone tell you different and try to stay positive.

Romance will come at its own time

Being that I’m only 16 years old and every girl my age wants a boyfriend or someone to love. I have also have gone through this where I also wanted those things. YA Contemporaries tells these stories of young love and just because you read about it doesn’t mean It’s going to happen when you want it to happen. Love is something that comes with patients because it doesn’t just happen overnight. I definitely would recommend waiting on love if you are still young because we don’t really know what love is and love isn’t how it is in books all the time. Love is different for everyone!

Tell me in the comments 3 lessons you have learned from reading! 💖

  1. I love this post. These are such great lessons. I know a lot of people who still need all of these lessons and they’re grown. You seem to have a very good head on your shoulders, keep up the amazing work.

  2. I found myself snapping at all of these! YES! Books have taught me so much, but these three things are vital. That first one especially. We have to find our own individual paths and those paths are not going to be the same. We each need to start remembering that. Be true to whatever makes you who you are.

  3. I love this Post Kay! I couldn’t agree more, books have taught me so many valuable lessons like these. Plus they are a nice escape when you need one. ☺️ loving your blog! 💖
